But never fear – I’ve done all the hard work for you and found seventeen of the best options to stay with family in Paris as well as three different Disneyland Paris hotel options. These Paris accommodation options will also work well for friends traveling to Paris.

Best Right Bank Family Friendly Paris Hotels
The best parts of the Right Bank for families are around the Marais as it has a number of quality Paris 3 star hotels (family budget friendly), good family friendly Paris dining options and also features the excellent Place de Vosges – a fenced park which is extremely popular with local families.
The first and second arrondissements are also excellent for families due to good public transport options, and walking distance to many of the places you will want to visit as a family in Paris. The first is also home to the Tuileries Gardens. While it is more expensive, the eighth arrondissement can also be a good choice due to the Parc Monceau.
Hotel Opéra Maintenon
With free wifi and triple and quad rooms this traditionally decorated hotel is conveniently located near the Opéra Garnier and is a good option for families in Paris. In an expensive neighbourhood, this is a more price conscious choice for where to stay in Paris with family.

Hotel Britannique
This is another excellent choice for your Paris family vacation, with its minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and air conditioning as well as interconnecting double rooms. The hotel is centrally located near the Seine and has sound proofing.

Le Relais du Louvre
This small 21 room charmer reminds me more of the sort of place you find on the Left Bank but it’s more central than that. If it is within your budget, this is an excellent choice for first time visitors. It has a number of options that are suitable for families, including interconnecting rooms for up to 4 people and cots.

This is a comfortable, modern hotel close by the very trendy Canal St Martin. This hotel is a good option if you are looking for something more modern near the Marais, or near the Gare du Nord. Because it has an onsite mini mart and interconnecting rooms, I rate it as a good option for families.

Located in the 16th arrondissement the Elysées Union is an excellent family choice, with quad rooms and an apartment that sleeps up to 6. You can also see the Eiffel Tower from the street at its entrance. Because this hotel is one of the best family friendly hotels in Paris, you do need to book early.

It’s probably been completely ruined after featuring in an episode of Emily in Paris, but if an outdoor pool is on your Paris family hotel wish list, the Molitor Paris is definitely one of your best places to stay in Paris with family.
Family interconnecting rooms are pricy, but this really is more like a resort in the centre of Paris so you wouldn’t expect it to be a cheap family hotel in Paris, would you?

Hotel Tilsitt Etoile
Quality 3 star hotels anywhere near the Arc de Triomphe are very thin on the ground, so I was thrilled to have found this place, which is one of the best places to stay in Paris with family. In the quality Ternes neighbourhood this hotel was restored in 2014, and offers quad options suitable for families. Rooms are plainly decorated, but are of a good size and there’s the luxury touch of L’Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. This hotel is one of the best cheap family hotels in Paris in my opinion.

Best places to stay in Paris with family on the Left bank
The Left Bank is possibly the best place to stay in Paris for families. The 6th arrondissement is home to the Jardin du Luxembourg which is an excellent park for kids in Paris. The seventh is also home to a number of smaller parks. Both are safe residential neighbourhoods that is home to affluent French families.
Hotel des Grandes Ecoles
The Hotel des Grandes Ecoles is like a country house – complete with a garden and car parking. Rooms accomodate up to four people but are on the small size. There is no television in this hotel, but the wifi is reported to be good. This hotel is well located for the Jardin des Plantes and the Natural History Museum and not too far from the Jardin du Luxembourg. This hotel is frequently recommended in the Facebook group.

An aparthotel is often a good choice for family hotel rooms in Paris, as they combine the amenity of a hotel (such a reception desk) with the convenience of a hotel, including kitchen and laundry facilities. Most Paris aparthotels tend to be located in the outer arrondissements, but more centrally located ones are available if you book early.

Best Hotels at Disneyland Paris
While it is not among the best places to stay in Paris with family I know many families will find it more convenient to stay overnight on a visit to Disneyland Paris.
La Grande Maison LGM
This stunner is located 3.9km from Disneyland. It features free car parking, an outdoor pool and air conditioning. Perfect for the family that wants to visit Disneyland before starting a driving tour outside Paris. Family suites feature two bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
